Synopsis



Nowadays, prisons are full of innocent people who, because of their extreme poverty, find it difficult to defend themselves against a judicial system that is itself powerless and overwhelmed. The series "L'Avocat des Causes Perdues" retraces the many diverse facts of Burkinabe society tried in the country's court, such as the practice of FGC, "witchcraft"... Each episode retraces a rebound trial where the defence lawyer nicknamed "the lawyer of lost causes" tries to defend the indefensible.
