In the heart of the equatorial forest, the village of Lebamzip is about to start an ordinary school year. But the arrival of a new school teacher, Bernard Malo Malo Malo, was soon to cause a stir. A young libertarian recently graduated from the Teacher Training College in Yaoundé, Malo Malo Malo sees teaching as an opening to the world. With his students, he spends as much time in class as in the fields and discusses all subjects, from politics to sexuality. These methods, which do not please the school principal, will make the confrontation between the two men inevitable. For one season, the village of Lebamzip will experience unusual moments, both terrible and wonderful. Sango Malo offers a reflection on the educational system and the traditional values of African culture that its author, Bassek Ba Kobhio, materializes above all in the form of a literary novel.
